This greenfield project is situated on the banks of the North Parra River, 52km north west of Adelaide. A new multifunction facility, designed for the provision of Service and Mission by the Salvation Army to the people of Gawler and its environs.
The facility includes a new Worship Centre, Administration and Counselling offices, Children’s Play Area, a Sensory Room and various multifunction spaces for youth and community based activities. To enhance interaction with its clients a Café is also incorporated and extends to an outdoor area overlooking the adjacent riverbank and parks beyond. The project was delivered on time and within budget.
“The new facilities will allow The Salvation Army to expand its services and better serve the community once the site is operational,” said Major Darren Cox, Gawler Corps Officer. “This will include hospitality training, financial counselling and employment training.”
